Knew Mgmt values the relationship between the athlete and his/her respective sponsor(s). We will always take an organic, progressive, and collective approach to enhance and cultivate this relationship in a positive and constructive manner. Under Knew Management, the athlete's individuality and creativity will always be preserved as we understand that is what drives snowboarding.

Knew Mgmt understands the power of exposure for both the athletes and their brand(s). Our marketing model follows a completely new and dynamic approach to promote and raise the exposure meter for all our clients and their sponsors.

About Knew

History

In the fall of 2006, co-founder and owner Howard Merson identified a void in the traditional athlete representation and management system, and put the Knew Mgmt business model into action in the spring of 2007. Since then, Knew has conducted two very productive focus groups, a photo shoot, and a trip to Mt. Hood, all of which have proven to be instrumental in building the business.


Company

Knew Mgmt, LLC represents and manages individuals from a wide array of ages, levels, and abilities, with a primary focus on assisting athletes in both the endemic and non-endemic sponsorship zones. Mirroring our company philosophy, we also recognize the importance of establishing positive relationships between the athletes and their brands, and will enhance this in all our partnership relations. Through marketing, exposure, sponsorship assistance, and management services, we provide mutually beneficial mediums for both the athlete and his/her respected sponsor(s).

As the only action-sports management company working exclusively with snowboarders, we also provide services other agencies cannot. We take on amateur athletes, sometimes on a pro bono basis, and help build their bios, get them exposure on the national scene, and assist them in securing their first sponsorships. As the only agency with a commitment to guiding amateur and up-and-coming superstars through the minefields of branding and sponsorship, we are in a unique position to facilitate the achievement of their goals by assisting to build their personal brand identity from the ground up.

At the heart of this process is our commitment to giving every one of our athletes easy access to photo and video-shoot opportunities, as well as professional help from our marketing and copy-writing staff to build outstanding bios.

Our “team” concept, is another positive aspect of the Knew Mgmt philosophy which is a rarity in the industry. All of our athletes are a part of our collective team, and this solidarity makes us stronger as a driving and cohesive force to move every member of Knew Mgmt forward to greater success.

At Knew, our team shares the same dedication and drive for the shred as our athletes, and consistently log over 200+ days at the hill annually. This passion is reflected directly by our dedicated work ethic and overall Knew principles as a snowboarding management firm. We are stoked to provide an equation that allows all our athletes to expend their energy on-hill and snowboarding, while we take care of the back-end business activities.
