Contest results/Video
I got second at the Queen City Sessions at the beginning of last season. I have made a ton of finals on the rail scene mostly but couldn’t seem to place; I guess you could say I’m still gaining experience. I tried to film for Trash Attack 2 and would have had a part but the hard drive with all the footage got dropped we can’t recover the footy- bummer.
Shred history
I wouldn’t be where I’m at right if my older brother John hadn’t strapped my onto an oversized Burton in my back yard when I was a young gun. I’ve been riding ever since which has been about five or six years now.
Personal riding style
I like the oversized clothing which gives me that “Grimy” feeling. Nothing outta’ hand enormous like those kids runnin’ a trip XL tee out from under their medium jacket. That just looks ridiculous. Just a tall jacket, pant sag, and a tall beanie is a must. I gotta’ be loose and relaxed on the scene. I base my style around people that I look up to on the pro scene. Danny Davis is one of those guys for sure. Jake Blauvelt, Travis Kennedy, and Magoon. All of these doods just have a fluid style. Nothing is ever rigid or sketchy, super natural. I try to portray that in my riding as much as possible whether it’s rails, park or pow.
Pipe, Park, or Backcountry Pow
I’ve kind of fallen off of the pipe scene which seems weird because I rode Mammoth all year, but I could never pass up those perfectly carved jump lines. So I’d have to say that the park is my fav for sure; especially if I’m just running laps with a bunch of my homies. I had such a good time just lapping the park with Tommy, Dubbers and Connor. I mean, how can you deny Unbound at Mammoth? It’s the sickest shit you’re ever gonna get down on. Over the next few years, I want to step-up and start riding backcountry and eventually filming video parts in the pow.
What’s fresh
GIRLS.
What’s stale
School.
Partners in Crime
Right now it’s the whole crew back here in VT. I grew up riding with these fools and wouldn’t trade them for anyone. I skate with these kids in the summer and chill with them 24/7. I have definitely met some kids this winter that I love riding with from Mammoth, Tahoe and Southern VT. There are too many to name em’ all.
Tunes
Nothing in particular but I do listen to rap a good portion of the time. On hill it’s all hip-hop though. The beats and lyrics and flows are crucial for getting my grind on.

Switch Back Blunt Same Ways
Favorite movie:
Superbad, Caddyshack, THAT
Top 5 snowboarders of all-time
I probably should put some older doods down here, but I don’t look up to them as much
  • JP Walker
  • Jake Blauvelt
  • Travis Kennedy
  • Lauri Heiskari
  • Danny Davis
Most shradical experience
Nothing really stands out in my mind, but riding with Pat Bridges this past season was fun
What’s the low-down on your plans for the upcoming season:
I’m staying in VT until January doing some rail contests here and there around my home state, then heading out West to Mammoth where I’m living with a crew for the season. I want to travel a lot this year and do as many contests as I can.
Other hobbies/activities outside of snowboarding
Skateboarding and golf during the summer.
Any last words
